Bryn @ 10 months

Date:  March 25, 2013

Age: 10 Months

Weight: 17 pounds, 12 ounces (20th percentile)

Length: 28 inches (60th percentile)

Head: 17.75 inches (25-50%) last measurement

Clothes: She wears anything from a 6 to 12 month.  Size 2 shoe.

Schedule: Wake at 8:00. Eat. Play. Nap at 10-12. Eat. Play. Nap 3-5. Eat. Play. Bed at 8. (was 7:30, but pushed it back when the time changed)

Menu: She loves to eat. She eats everything, and begs for everything we are eating!  She gets mad when it's all gone!  Big kid food she's been eating lately: scrambled eggs, pancakes, bananas, strawberries, cheese, bread, turkey, chicken, creamed spinach.

Temperament/Personality: She is a really happy girl, but sometimes gets fussy when she's hungry or tired.  We usually know pretty fast what to do b/c it's usually our fault she's off her schedule!

Likes: She loves to eat, take a bath, type on Mommy's computer, listen to music and dance, explore, climb the stairs, and get into mischief!

Dislikes: She doesn't like it when I put her down, when I have something I need to do. Doesn't like that we put a baby gate up at the back stairs, and that I slid the toy ottoman in front of the front stairs.

Happenings: The last week, she's been walking on her own a little bit! She's been pulling up on furniture, and taking off!   A lot of standing, and great balance! When she gets hurt or upset, she now screams MaaMaaa!!!  Always has rose red cheeks!  Also, many many dirty diapers a day!

Outings: She still loves her big car seat, but likes to play with her flower toy in the car!  Loves to ride in our Peg Perego stroller!

Dr. Report: I took her in the morning that we left for Disney World (feb 18), and she had a really bad double ear infection, was given first round of antibiotics.  Went back in the follow Wednesday for a re-check - it was gone from the left ear, but still bad in the right -2nd round of antibiotics - was told it would be gone by that friday (hollyn's birthday).  It wasn't. Went back two weeks later (march 14) for a ear recheck - still bad and had to get a shot of Rocephin.  Went back the next day and it wasn't completely gone, so ANOTHER shot of Rocephin, and prescribed her 3rd round of antibiotics.  Were told if this all didn't help that we might have to go see an ENT. :(  Appointment is today.  *update: SHE'S ALL BETTER!  EAR INFECTION IS GONE!!!

*update - unfortunately all those ^ antibiotics cleared everything good and bad out of her system.  She became lactose intolerant b/c she had no lactase to break down dairy.  We had to switch her to soy formula.

This age is so fun!  She can be very mischievous at times, but I love the little sparkle in her eye when she turns around and looks for us and knows she's about to get caught!  I could hug and squeeze and kiss this girl all day long! XO
